Kevin is a former council leader, long-standing councillor and an expert in local government, politics and development communications.
Kevin founded a communications company from which he stood down upon becoming Council Leader. He has twice been the Leader of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames Council and held a number of other roles in politics including running for Parliament. He has also been chief executive of both commercial and charitable organisations.
Kevin provides clients with forensic insight into local politics, decision-making and the art of engagement with local political stakeholders. First elected as a councillor in 1998, he has over two decades of knowledge of politics and during that time he has held a variety of roles in local decision-making. Subscribing to the view that ‘all politics is local’, Kevin gives highly effective advice on how to navigate the political landscape surrounding regeneration, planning policy and engagement, in addition to all other areas of local government.
He is a serving councillor in Kingston and Leader of the Opposition on the Council. Kevin holds a BSc in economics and politics.
